It is that time of year again, time to think of football and cheerleading.
If your child is interested in participating please download the registration form or come by our Church office to pick one up. Early registration cost per child for flag football is $70. After August 31, the cost is $80. Everyone must attend one flag football evaluation. They will take place at Orchard Hills as follows:
K-5 through 8th Grade – Tuesday, August 17th between 5:30 and 7:30 pm.
K-5 through 8th Grade – Thursday, August 19th between 5:30 and 7:30 pm.
K-5 through 8th Grade – Saturday, August 21st between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon.

Practices begin Tuesday, August 31, 2010. First game is Saturday, September 11, 2010.

BRIGHT LIGHTS (K-5 – 2nd Grade) – “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify you Father in Heaven.” Matthew 5:18

MOUNTAIN MOVERS (3rd – 6th Grades) – “…. for assuredly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain,  ‘move from here to there, ‘ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”   Matthew 17:20

On Friday, July 23, 2010 we will be taking the Bright Light & Mountain Movers on a trip to Stone Mountain.  We will leave the Church at 12 noon and will be staying for the laser show which begins at 9:30.  The prices are $16.00 for ages 5-11, $22.00 for ages 12 & up.

On Saturday, August 7, 2010 we will be taking the Bright Lights and Mountain Movers on a trip to the McWane Science Center in Birmingham, AL. We will leave the Church at 8 am.  The prices are $12.00 for ages 5-12, $16.00 for ages 13 & up.

David Barton will appear at Orchard Hills Baptist Church on Saturday, September 18th, 2010.
We will serve a country breakfast at 9am for $5. Please call Rita at 678-854-9180 or e-mail

will also speak at our Sunday, September 19th, 2010 morning worship service.
